Brian Christensen

Brian was born in the small town of Boulder, Colorado where he was his parents' youth group mascot for the first few years of his life.  He moved around as a child and ended up residing in Pennsylvania where he achieved a Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Messiah College in 2006.  Shortly thereafter, he moved to NYC to pursue a career in acting and music.

After realizing the difficult nature of this profession, Brian decided to put his psych degree to good use and become a teacher.  He has been a youth leader for two years at Trinity.  Brian has also been teaching students with special needs since 2006.  He is currently pursuing his Masters degree in Early Childhood Special Education.

Elizabeth, a native New Yorker, has been an attendee of Trinity for the past five years and a member for the past three.  She has served as a Little Blessings and a Godquest Sunday school teacher as well as serving in choir and praise team.

Elizabeth holds a Masters degree in Marriage & Family Therapy and an undergraduate degree in Psychology with a minor in dance.  Elizabeth worked as a therapist for two years specializing primarily with children and families and taught psychology as an adjunct professor at Iona College.  Currently, Elizabeth is working toward her New York State licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist.  She is passionate about working with families and youth and hopes to translate that into her role as one of the youth leaders.

Some of Elizabeth's other passions include marine life (particularly dolphins), yoga, psychology, dogs, nature, and the ocean.

Sabrina Fouts

Sabrina traded the beaches of South Carolina for the snow of New York five years ago.  She has been attending Trinity since then and recently returned from Rwanda with Trinity missions.  For the past four years, Sabrina has been teaching Spanish and Dance in New York City schools, first, in a Bronx middle school, and now, in a Manhattan high school.  After teaching high school for the past two years, she is very excited to return to leading the Trinity Junior High Girls small group.

Originally from Texas, Jennifer K.  Ana Lawless

Ana, along with her husband, Matt, has been commuting to Trinity for the last two and a half years from inland New Jersey where they live with a very cool cat named Goobers.  Ana's interests are very diverse and range from playing music and singing in the choir, to drawing, painting, skiing, scuba diving, and discussing mathematics and philosophy.

Ana loves to read just about anything, from mundane popcorn fiction to various textbooks.  She is fluent in five languages.  In addition, she loves traveling and exploring new locations.  Ana also delights in tasting local cuisines.

Ana is thrilled for this opportunity to see God in action among our younger brothers and sisters in Christ and is excited to be a source of encouragement and support for Trinity Youth.

Matt moved from Texas to NY with his wife, Ana, in 2007 and they have been attending Trinity since 2009.  Matt is a full-time musician/teacher and occasionally fills in on piano for the worship team on Sunday mornings.  He earned his Masters Degree in Jazz Performance from the University of North Texas and performs regularly in NYC.  He looks forward to working with the Trinity Youth program.
