newcomers reception

If you are new to Trinity Baptist Church, or have been attending but just don't yet feel as though you have connected, we invite you to join us for one of the Newcomer Receptions.  These receptions are designed to give you an opportunity to get acquainted with the pastors and some of the Trinity family. This is a chance for us to inform you about and introduce you to our vision, values and structure and to respond to your questions in an informal, relaxed setting.  Newcomers' Receptions are held weekly immediately after each Sunday service and gather at the back right corner of the sanctuary.

If you would like to participate in the Newcomers Ministry at Trinity, here are some opportunities to get involved.

Newcomers at Trinity 

Newcomer Reception Host – involves gathering the newcomers after the 1st or 2nd service (holding the blue sign), conducting the tour, taking them to Keith’s office or Classroom A to hand out materials and meet Keith and/or James, collecting and completing the cards and delivering to the church office.

Newcomer Follow Up – additional contact with newcomers by phone, e-mail or in person to see how they’re doing, if they need help in getting plugged in.  If you’re a Newcomer Reception Host, it would be good to follow up those that attended the reception you hosted.

Bunch for Lunch or Brunch Host – once a month lunch (after 2nd) or brunch (after 1st) at a restaurant for those that have attended Newcomer Receptions and anyone else (board, leadership, regular attenders, etc.).
