Connecting People to Service Opportunities in NYC

The Local Missions team is dedicated to helping individuals and small groups get involved in community outreach and service. We continually seek to envision new ways of connecting our congregation with mercy and justice opportunities and creative faith-building initiatives.

Volunteer with the Local Missions Planning Team

Develop, organize, or lead local service projects, leadership development initiatives, and hospitality/informational events.
Become a coordinator for a particular ongoing ministry project.
Plan the logistics for church-wide initiatives: Community Service Day, International Thanksgiving Dinner, Angel Tree, Vision Tour
Encourage others to explore their gifts and step out in faith to serve as change agents of Christ.

Providing Fellowship through our International Student Community

The International Student Community, part of Trinity’s Local Missions, creates a welcoming environment for international students and professionals to build friendships, develop English conversational skills, learn more about NYC, and explore questions of faith.
