Your child is a special gift from God!

In our Little Blessings Nursery & Toddler Rooms, we provide a safe and comfortable environment for your child while you attend worship service on Sunday mornings.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Nursery Room (Birth - 18 months)

In this warm and cheerful room, babies receive their first experience with church-life.  They are rocked, fed, read to and played with to help keep them content while they are in our care.

A separate nursing room is located in the room located between the Nursery and Toddler Rooms for mothers who are nursing. (To respect the privacy of others, we ask that mom's ONLY use the room).

Toddler Room (18 months - 2 1/2 years)

In this bright setting, children play with age appropriate learning toys, and begin an informal introduction to faith through books and tapes designed to teach God’s Word and His love.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

While children are always welcome in our sanctuary, childcare is provided in both rooms during all service times.  We also provide childcare during our church-wide special events.

Both rooms are equipped with a pager system that prevents anyone other than the proper person from picking up your child. As you sign in your child, you will receive a numbered pager.   If your child needs you during the service, we will page you. Simply return the pager to the room when picking up your child.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Although Trinity employs two childcare workers to oversee the Nursery and Toddler rooms each Sunday, we must also rely on volunteers to ensure that the rooms have an adequate ratio of adults to children. Therefore, it is part of our policy to ask all parents whose children benefit from our program to help out by serving in either room at least two times per three-month rotation. Schedules are planned well in advance so that everyone is given ample notice of their service dates.

We also use a national screening service to do background checks on all paid childcare workers.  They also fill out a reference application, which we check and keep on file.

Baby Blessings:

Parents are encouraged to bring their child before the Lord so that the congregation can pray for and support them in their child's faith training.  The blessings occur three times during the year -- On the second Sundays of February, June and October.
